Handmade Lopapeysa

Lopapeysas, the traditional Iceladic sweaters, are made from Icelandic wool and have been used for centuries to keep the people warm in the extreme weather conditions. They have a distinctive yoke design and sometimes additional designs around the wrists and the waist. 

This specific design is made with a bulky yarn, offering extra warmth and making it suitable for cold climates.

Materials: 100% icelandic wool, Álafoss Lopi

Size: available sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL)

All handmade (knit and crochet) garments should be handwashed in lukewarm water. Use a mild detergent for wool/silk and avoid too much friction. If using a washing machine, opt for a program for sensitives, in 30°C. Don't use a dryer. Flat dry them in a warm place. If you hang them, the shape of the garment may be overstretched.
